The problem with the genre that is hardcore these days is that most people have not a fucking clue what it is. I have been to several different peoples profiles and they state that they love hardcore yet I look at there tags and the bands they have tagged hardcore are bands such as As I Lay Dying plus the rest of the last.fm library doesn’t seem to have any hardcore in what so ever. Yes metalcore is a off shoot of hardcore but it is not to be described as hardcore and saying you love hardcore and having none in your library what so ever is retarded, people need to read up on shit.

Yeah, AILD is not hardcore and they suck. Most kids nowadays misinterpret what hardcore is, or they just really don’t know. 7 Angels 7 Plagues was a great metalcore band (now Misery Signals). Great list of hardcore bands, except I can’t stand Blacklisted. If you get a chance you should check out some Japanese hardcore bands.

Have heart and verse is the best “new shcool” hardcore there is out there IMO. and bad brians!! they fucking rule!! thanks for making this clear that AILD is not a hardcore band
