This has been one of my most anticipated albums in a long time and I’ve got to say if you thought it couldn’t be as good as For Those Who Have Heart then your mistaken. The album opens brilliantly and keeps you interested right through, every song seems to be well done, great mixture of screaming and singing. Homesick defiantly gets your heart pumping and is great to sing along to.

Track list:
01. The Downfall Of Us All
02. My Life For Hire
03. I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?
04. NJ Legion Iced Tea
05. Mr. Highway’s Thinking About The End
06. Have Faith In Me
07. Welcome To The Family
08. Homesick
09. Holdin’ It Down For The Underground
10. You Already Know What You Are
11. Another Song For The Weekend
12. If It Means A lot To You

5/5

jaydiohead_cover

Jaydiohead is a mash-up album combining the vocals of Jay-Z and the music of Radiohead. It is produced by NYC DJ and producer Minty Fresh Beats. This mash-up is well done and actually works better than I thought it would, if you liked danger mouse’s grey album you should like this. I originally found this over at Ministry of Criticism so thanks to them.

Coke Bust

January 2, 2009

Coke Bust are a fast paced straight edge hardcore punk band from Washington, DC.  They have a kind of old school feeling about them as well, anyway this band is awesome check them out here.

I have loved “Mutiny!” for ages and really can’t wait for there new stuff, I hope it is as good as it , I’m sure it will be. I will be buying it as soon as I can when it comes out. If you haven’t heard their stuff before its a mix of hardcore punk and pop-punk, go have a listen on there myspace.

The problem with the genre that is hardcore these days is that most people have not a fucking clue what it is. I have been to several different peoples profiles and they state that they love hardcore yet I look at there tags and the bands they have tagged hardcore are bands such as As I Lay Dying plus the rest of the last.fm library doesn’t seem to have any hardcore in what so ever. Yes metalcore is a off shoot of hardcore but it is not to be described as hardcore and saying you love hardcore and having none in your library what so ever is retarded, people need to read up on shit.
